Once I finished college, I dove head first into the world of freelancing. I tried to get as much experience as I could doing entry level work on a short film, a music video, a web series, and a film festival.
First Bite (Oct-Nov 2019)

I had a hands-on role overseeing 17 students. I was chosen to act in the final film “First Bite” where I designed and created the makeup looks of the “nerdy” zombies whilst I also managed the costumes. After filming I assisted Janette Bushell with managing the students Arts Awards using WIX.

I worked on 3 of the 4 short films as the 1stAD, alongside talented young actors with learning disabilities. I created risk assessments and schedules for each short film then made sure we stuck to our timings on the days of the shoot.
Flatpack Festival (April-May 2019)

I was front of house so I sold tickets, gave out feedback forms, and watched some amazing films. I would highly recommend volunteering at Flatpack or checking out some of their screenings.

We shot this music video in Birmingham Hippodrome, using their amazing theatre facilities. This is my favourite track of Tarju's so I felt very lucky to work on the music video for Red. You can watch on Tarju's Youtube channel.

I did some concert photography for the music tech showcase. this was my first time doing photography during a live music show so I found it difficult at first but I learned so much.
