My producer portfolio

As a mixed-race, queer, disabled person, I often don't see people like myself on screen or behind the scenes, so I feel it is essential to make a space for under represented people like myself to create and innovate. I am most interested in producing films that amplify diverse voices, giving opportunities to people from the same groups that the subject matter is about, and all in aid of showing human moments on screen. Unfortunately not many people are active in creating an inclusive atmosphere on set, whereas I see it as my priority.

I am a BFI Film Academy Alumnus 2018, Birmingham Ormiston Academy Grad 2019, Back In Xtra Mentee (Tenisha White) 2020, NFTS Craft Skills Residential Producer (Rachel Robey) 2021, Film Hub Midlands VEF Mentee (Lauren Parker) 2022, BYFN Producers Series Participant 2022, Emerging Talent on the BFI Network Coventry Producers Lab 2022, and a BAFTA Mentee (Danielle Goff) 2023.

I have received funding in 2022 from Chapter Art Centre and BFI for my comedy short film How Could This Have Happened To Me! The film has since had a successful festival run, screening across the UK. As well as that I have received funding in 2023 from WWF Wales to create a community focused Earth Hour activity. I pitched the Cycle Path, an environmental focused film, where I brought together local early career filmmakers together to have fun and shoot a film. The film has gone on to be Bolton International Film Festival Nominated,  Short and Suite Winner at Flatpack Festival, and Special Prize Winner at WHO Health For All Film Festival.

My upcoming shorts include A Glass House (drama), She Will Play On (coming-of-age), and Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Worm (comedy). I'm also producing my first theatre production Cymbeline, Queered for RSC's Open Stage, exploring the concept of an open rehearsal, demystifying theatre practices for audiences.
